Moving forward is sometimes constrained or delayed by self-doubt, so this week let’s talk about self-doubt.

Feeling doubtful about one or more parts of oneself is the definition of self-doubt.

Self-criticism, in moderation, can be a useful source of inspiration. Its use could motivate you to put in more effort and improve your abilities so that you feel more confident. But too much doubt and fear can keep you from performing well and reaching your full potential. It takes time, but you can get past your doubts.

Today, let’s all start with some self-compassion exercises.

Self-doubt is a sign that you are not being fully yourself. It arises from the fear of making a mistake, but mistakes are how we grow and improve our own abilities.

Let’s collectively begin to practice by saying three self-affirming words when you face the mirror at the start of each day.
